Apple Cinnamon Bread Pudding Recipe

Have you tried our handmade Apple Cinnamon Bread Pudding? Made with our outstanding cinnamon rolls, diced apples, a brown sugar pecan streusel and served with our homemade vanilla bean sauce on top, this bread pudding has been a guest favorite for years.

With the Christmas season upon us, we wanted to share this beloved recipe with you, so you can share with your family, friends and loved ones! Make this simple bread pudding for a Christmas morning breakfast, holiday party, or just for a sweet treat to be enjoyed at home.

Ingredients

  • 1 quart of half & half
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup granulated sugar, divided
  • 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 8 Kneaders Cinnamon Rolls, one day old
  • 1 cup apple juice
  • 1 cup apple, peeled and chopped
  • Sprinkle of cinnamon

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Spray a 9×13 baking dish with cooking spray.

In a medium bowl, whisk half & half, eggs, 1/2 cup sugar and vanilla.

Quarter the cinnamon rolls and gently toss into half & half mixture. Set aside.

In a small bowl, combine apple juice, apples and remaining sugar.

Fill prepared baking dish just over halfway with cinnamon roll mixture. Evenly layer apples on top. Spread remaining cinnamon roll mixture over apples.

Bake for 35 minutes, until set. Sprinkle with cinnamon and serve warm with vanilla or caramel sauce.
