Summer is BBQ season! We love pairing our Soft Rolls with slow-cooker pulled pork for an easy, crowd-pleasing cookout recipe.
Ingredients:
- 5 lbs Pork Shoulder, boneless
- 1/2 Cup Red Chili Powder
- 2 Tablespoons Salt
- 1 Tablespoon Black Pepper, ground
- 2 Cups BBQ Sauce, your favorite
- 1/2 Cup Apple Cider Vinegar
- 1 Cup Chicken Broth
- Dozen Kneaders Soft Rolls
- 1 Bunch Cilantro, roughly chopped
- 1 Red Onion, peeled, thinly sliced
- 1 Jalapeño, thinly sliced
Directions:
Mix together red chili powder, salt, and pepper and rub on pork shoulder.
Marinate for 3-4 hours or overnight.
Transfer pork to a crock pot & add BBQ sauce, chicken broth, and apple cider vinegar.
Turn on low and slow cook for 8 hours.
Shred pork and remove liquid to your taste. Check seasoning and add salt and pepper to taste.
Serve on sliced Kneaders Soft Rolls.
Top with cilantro, red onion, and sliced jalapeño (optional).
