Mango Toast

Drop by the bakery after your weekly farmers market trip to try a new way to dress up your Sourdough loaf! This mango toast recipe makes for the perfect light dinner or a quick snack to share with friends on a warm summer evening. The harmony between the saltiness of prosciutto with the mango and cheese is truly something special. Who said simple couldn’t be delicious? 

Ingredients:

  • cream cheese spread
  • 1 large ripe mango
  • thinly sliced prosciutto
  • Kneaders Pantry Honey
  • small fresh basil leaves
  • freshly cracked black pepper
  • Kneaders French Country Sourdough 

Instructions:

Slice and toast sourdough to your preferred crunch-level. Spread cream cheese spread onto the toast. Peel, seed and carefully slice your mango. Top the toast with the mango slices and prosciutto. Take your Kneaders Pantry Honey and drizzle the desired amount before garnishing with fresh basil leaves and cracked pepper.
