Tailgate Chicken Ciabatta

This open-faced sandwich was created for halftime, but it’s a crowd pleaser for any party or get-together. 🏈 We recommend serving immediately to enjoy gooey cheese on the crispy Ciabatta base. Happy tailgating!⁠

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf Kneaders Ciabatta Bread⁠
  • 2 cups chicken, cooked and shredded⁠
  • 2 cups pepper jack cheese, grated⁠
  • 1 cup ranch dressing⁠
  • ½ cup diced green chilies, fire roasted⁠
  • Salt and pepper
  • Guacamole⁠

Directions⁠⁠

  1. Preheat oven to 350⁠
  2. Slice Ciabatta loaf in half horizontally⁠
  3. In a bowl, combine shredded chicken, cheese, dressing, and green chilies. Add salt and pepper to taste⁠
  4. Spread the mixture generously on the two halves of bread⁠
  5. Loosely wrap each half in foil to keep in moisture. Keep the foil off the cheese mixture⁠
  6. Bake until cheese is melted, about 15 minutes⁠
  7. Slice each half into thirds. Serve with guacamole⁠
